About Us
We sell one thing: smart door locks, described by the measurements that actually decide whether they fit. Not a general store that happens to stock a few — a range where every listing tells you the backset, the door thickness and the stile width before it tells you anything else.
Why we do it this way
Almost every smart lock that gets sent back is sent back for the same reason. It did not fit. The buyer had a 60 mm backset and ordered a 45 mm. Or their door was 35 mm thick and the lock started at 40 mm. Or the stile was too narrow for the body, which no amount of drilling was going to change.
That is not the buyer's fault. It is what happens when a $400 product is sold with a photo, a feature list and no fitting information anywhere near the buy button.
So we put it first. Every product page opens with a Backset Calculator — two questions and it tells you which option to order, or tells you plainly that this lock is wrong for your door. Behind it sits a full sizing guide with diagrams and 23 answers.
Send us a photo. One picture of the edge of your door with a tape measure across it, emailed to contact@flashmarques.com, and we will tell you which lock and which mortise size to order. That takes us two minutes and saves you a return.
Where we ship
Shipping is free on every order, with no minimum spend, to all three countries below. Prices are shown in AUD everywhere.
| Country | Shipping | Delivery after dispatch |
|---|---|---|
| Australia | Free | 7 to 10 business days |
| United Kingdom | Free | 7 to 10 business days |
| United States | Free | 7 to 10 business days |
Orders are dispatched from our warehouse in Bangkok, Thailand after 1 to 3 business days of processing. Depending on where you live, your own country may charge import duties or taxes on delivery — those are set by your government, are not included in what you pay us, and are explained in our shipping policy.
What we stock
How we describe things
Three rules we hold ourselves to, because this category is full of listings that do the opposite.
| We publish the limits | If a lock has no weather rating, the page says so and tells you it belongs under an eave. If remote unlocking needs a gateway you have to buy separately, the page says that too — before you order, not after. Our calculator will actively stop you buying the wrong lock. |
|---|---|
| No invented urgency | No countdown timers, no "9 people are viewing this", no crossed-out price that was never charged. If something is genuinely low stock, we say the number. |
| No fake reviews | We would rather show no reviews than reviews we wrote ourselves. |
We also say what we do not sell: nothing in our range is certified for fire doors or required exit doors, and we do not currently have a lock suited to an Australian security screen door. We would rather turn the sale down than have it come back.
